I learned that Denmark asks for you to give up citizenship of your other country before becoming one here, and sometimes the other country doesn't like that. x.x What was the original country? I've got good freinds in Denmark who lead good lives, attend University yet are stuck in this twilight zone of an EU Work Permit and no permit at all. One I know the Danish refuse to give residency and a passport because they need a release form from her supposed original country (even though she spent little time there) and the original country refuses to give her those papers! >.
