Since December, it has snowed — began melting — snowed again (so you have a nice layer of snow>ice>snow, etc), and today a blizzard came in… pretty violently. The snow was blowing not only diagonally, but upwards sometimes too.
So I decide to head up to IO-Interactive around 3:30pm today to drop a package off for Lance and head up to an American Import store (mountain dew! pop tarts! Oreos! Oh how I miss home!) and possibly take some pics of the city. Here is a list of events:
- Wait for bus to get to IO in blizzard
- Get off bus and walk rest of way to IO in blizzard
- Walk to bus stop from IO to get to city square, blizzard is calming down
- Bus takes 20 minutes to arrive, now the sky is shooting ice instead of snow.
- Get off bus at city square, take some pics, walk down the “Walking Street” to an American Import store.
- Get halfway to store, begins raining hard.
- Get to store, CLOSED ON MONDAYS. Still raining.
- Walk to Nørreport Station to catch bus to go home.
- Busses are packed and slow, so waiting takes 10+ minutes and I wait through 4 busses because they are all packed. Finally get one
- Walk rest of way home from bus stop, in ice (only about 5 min from that stop though)
So, I got snowed on, iced on, rained on, then iced on again, all while walking around for about 3 hours total. Bus times only took about 5 - 10 minutes in trip besides from home to IOI.
Insane.
Most pics came out blurry, I guess my camera got re-adjusted in my pocket, I’ll have to do it again, but will post pics later of what came out decent.
